Every year in January, the great Naga New Year Festival takes place in one of the three centers of Eastern Nagalim – now Self-Administered Zone (နာဂကိုယ်ပိုင်အုပ်ချုပ်ခွင့်ရဒေသ) in Myanmar (Lahe, Lay Shi or Nanyun).
